OUTober Celebration

OUTober is a month-long observance dedicated to celebrating LGBTQIA2S+ identity, community, and history each October.

Because the traditional observance of Pride Month falls during the summer, many students are unable to participate with their classmates while away from campus. OUTober extends the spirit of Pride to our university community during the academic year, providing an opportunity to recognize the diversity, resilience, creativity, and contributions of LGBTQIA2S+ students, faculty, staff, and allies through a dedicated program of events, education, and engagement.
