Gender & Sexuality Programming

At the Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC), our Gender & Sexuality Programming creates vibrant, welcoming spaces where all students can explore identity, build community, and grow together. Through our programs, we celebrate the richness and diversity of gender and sexuality while encouraging meaningful conversations that challenge us to think deeper, reflect critically, and push beyond our comfort zones.

What do we mean by Gender and Sexuality?

Gender refers to the social and cultural ways we understand identity, expression, and roles (such as being a woman, man, nonbinary person, or beyond). Sexuality relates to how people experience attraction, relationships, and connection. Both are dynamic, personal, and shaped by our lived experiences.

Our programming goes beyond celebration; we also offer engaging educational experiences that help students better understand topics like identity development, intersectionality, allyship, and social justice. Whether it’s interactive workshops, dialogue-based events, or community-centered gatherings, each program is designed to be both informative and affirming.

Most importantly, this space is for everyone. No matter where you are in your journey, Gender & Sexuality Programming at MSSC invites all students to show up, learn, connect, and be part of a community that values authenticity, curiosity, and growth.
