The Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) focuses its work on underrepresented undergraduate students who are racial-, ethnic- and identity-based minority students. The work overlaps with graduate students, international students and other students who develop an interest in learning around diversity and inclusion. Our communities and identities include:

Asian and Pacific Islander

Black

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex and Asexual

Latinx

Native American

Religious and Faith

South Asian

The MSSC staff is the lead contributor for diversity and inclusion in campus life, campus climate and student advocacy. Our programs are developed in conjunction with campus partners during orientation, welcome week, the academic year, National Heritage celebration, commencement programs and the transition to alumni status. Cultural Education and Cultural Heritage Celebrations provide exceptional opportunities for students to develop stronger cultural intelligence and intercultural competency.
