LGBTQIA+ Resources

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community at GW encompasses diverse students, faculty, and staff, representing a full spectrum of gender and sexual identities, orientations, and expressions.

Throughout the year, MSSC offers programming that explores gender and sexuality from an intersectional approach, working to highlight how culture, race, socio-economic status, ability, and other identities influence notions of gender expression and belonging. MSSC also connects students to health, wellness, advocacy, and supportive resources in the local community.

We invite folx within the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to connect to our center and its resources throughout the year.

LGBTQIA+ Resource Lounge

The MSSC LGBTQIA+ Resource Lounge is a space where members of the LGBTQIA+ community can come together in a welcoming and safe space. Inside the lounge is the MSSC Gender Affirming Closet, where you can find clothing and accessories to help you feel confident, comfortable, and like your best self. No questions asked, take what you need and find pieces that express who you are and make you feel good.
