There are a number of ways to get involved in the community on campus. Whether you are an undergraduate student or a graduate student, there is a place for you here! Take a look through the many student organizations we have here on campus and find your home away from home.

Throughout the year, we have a variety of events from BBQueer to volunteering, to guest speakers, to alumni networking events. Everyone is always welcome and we are open to new programming and partnering suggestions. Please email us at [email protected] for more information or ask to join our listserv for upcoming events.

Through advocacy, social events, service, and support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning students (LGBTQ), we aim to create a comfortable environment for GW's LGBTQ population, to raise awareness on LGBTQ issues at GW and in the DC Metro Community, and to promote pro-LGBTQ policies at the university level.

The Association of Queer Women and Allies is a community building organization that seeks to bring the LGBTQIA+ women of GWU together in events on campus, as well as help GWU students make connections with the greater DC community--queer or otherwise.

We strive to be intersectional and welcoming to queers of all sexual and gender identities from all racial, cultural and/or socioeconomic backgrounds. We are body positive, critically sex positive, and open minded. We welcome positive, engaged allyship.

Queer Radicals is a trans-centered community of queer students at GW who together form an on-campus space to discuss queerness, exchange and discuss radical and queer literature, build solidarity with other local organizations, and engage in meaningful direct action.
