During the Fall semester multicultural student organizations are encouraged to apply for financial assistance through the Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC). The financial assistance that we provide allows student organizations to conduct programs throughout the academic year according to their current operating budget.
The organizations that apply for co-sponsorships must adhere to requirements that include:
Sharing their organization's calendar of confirmed events with the MSSC senior and graduate student staff
Providing our staff with an updated electronic copy of their programming binder
Attending the MSSC's mandatory series of diversity and inclusion trainings conducted by one of the MSSC staff members and/or graduate staff members
All of the aforementioned must be completed before the MSSC will consider granting organizations any financial assistance. Organizations apply at the beginning of the Fall semester and if approved, they receive funding for the entire academic year.
