9/11 Interfaith Vigil

The 9/11 Interfaith Vigil takes place annually on September 11 and offers the George Washington University (GW) community an opportunity to honor the memory of all those who lost their lives during the 2001 attacks, including nine GW alumni. Students, staff and faculty of diverse faith backgrounds come together to share a moment of silence and to reflect upon GW's commitment to religious diversity and inclusion. The Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) partners with University Events to empower interfaith student leaders to plan and participate in this important campus gathering.

Students of all faith and belief backgrounds are invited to participate in the 9/11 Interfaith Vigil. For more information, contact the MSSC at mssc@gwu.edu
