MSSC Graduation Celebration

Since 2008, the Multicultural Student Services Center’s (MSSC) annual MSSC Graduation Celebration has grown into one of our most anticipated events of the year. Since 2011, Graduation Celebration has been recognized as a signature university-wide program and included as part of the George Washington University’s (GW) Commencement Weekend.

The MSSC Graduation Celebration is held annually on the Thursday of Commencement Weekend in Lisner Auditorium for graduating students who have identified with and/or are allies of the BlackAsian and Pacific IslanderSouth AsianLatineNative Americanreligious and faith and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual communities. This event features student guest speakers and award winners. Following the ceremony is a parent and family reception. This event is open to students, faculty, staff, family and friends of the GW community.

The MSSC convenes this community-wide event in conjunction with the annual Interfaith Baccalaureate.
